BP - Azerbaijan to Turkey Oil Export Pipeline (SCP)

PSE Engineers have been involved in this project as members
of John Brown’s Team.

Client: BP Exploration (Shah Deniz) Ltd.

Project Title: South Caucasus Gas Pipeline (SCP)

Description: Front End and Detailed Engineering for the 42", 700km gas export pipeline from Sangachal (South of Baku) to the Turkish border. The pipeline will have an initial throughput of 5 BCM, to be increased to 22 BCM, and a Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure of 98 bar.

Scope of Work: Technical/economical optimisation of the system, route selection, corridor engineering, environmental impact review, hydraulics and process design, compressor station design, project schedule and CAPEX and OPEX estimates. The design is based on the application of advanced GIS techniques. Preparation of the Invitation to Tender for the construction of both the Shah Deniz and the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipelines.
